Order Help
Can I cancel my order?
Yes! You can cancel your order by sending an email to [email protected]. For orders cancelled afterdispatch, a shipping fee of AED 150 will be charged.
Customized items cannot be refunded, exchanged, or cancelled while being produced.

How can I return an item?
We try our best to avoid mishaps; however, if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return within 48 hours after delivery, if you have ordered within the UAE. We charge a return shipping fee of AED 100 (per trip), excluding faulty, defective or wrong items.
Please note that all items must be opened and checked by the customer and remain in their original packaging. In case the items received are faulty, defective or incorrect, please notify Houmata via email to [email protected] within 48 hours, whereby the correct returns policy will be followed as stipulated herein.
All returned goods must not be damaged, remain in the original condition in which they were received, and must be returned in their original packaging (if not assembled).

How do I get a refund?
Based on our evaluation of the item condition, we will refund the product value*.
*Houmata reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange.
Please note that refunds are only applicable to items/products – all shipping and assembly costs are non-refundable.
You will receive your refund via the same payment method/card with which you placed the order.

I need a bit more time before I can receive the order. What can I do?
Moving to a new place or out of town? We offer free 14-day storage from the day of purchase, after which we start charging AED 25 per day. Please note that all storage charges incurred must be paid in full (in advance) before release to delivery. We reserve the right to cancel the order on the 15th day if fees are not paid.

Currently, we deliver all across the UAE and the GCC.

Do you charge a delivery fee?
We offer free delivery and assembly all over the UAE on purchases above AED 500! For orders below AED 500, delivery charges will be calculated upon checkout.
Do you accept Cash on Delivery (COD)?
Yes, we do! Cash on Delivery (COD) is available as a payment method and may be subject to a service charge.
Prior to Your Order – What You Should Do:
First of all, please make sure you have cleared the passage and got rid of the old stuff you have! We do not dispose of, dismantle, shift or haul old/unwanted furniture. Out with the old, in with the new!
Secondly, please make necessary arrangements and permissions to receive goods without issues in your community/building.
Let us know of any limitations that may hinder us from delivering to your home (small lift, narrow corridor or doorway, low ceilings, etc). Should we be unable to deliver due to restrictions of no fault of our own and/or if no one is at home at scheduled delivery time, a redelivery fee of AED 150 will be charged.

Creating an Account
Creating your account is easy! Make sure to clearly and correctly fill in your full name, a verifiable email to which you have access, a safe and secure password you can remember, the correct shipping and/or billing address with relevant postal codes to avoid confusion, and your preferred payment method. We’ll send you an email to verify your account, and that’s it – you’re good to go!

Setting Up Your Account
Wedding registry is easy and convenient with Houmata! Simply log in your personal info (full name, email, address & shipping info), get together with your partner, and start choosing the items that reflect your style as a couple! Once you verify your account upon receiving our confirmation email, you will then get your unique link to your registry to share with your guests and make gifting ultra-easy!
How It Works
Once you’ve compiled your items and added them to your registry, you’ll be notified every time your guests make a gift purchase! You can choose when you want to have the item shipped, and you’ll be able to exchange any items for store credit if you are not satisfied. [See more on our Returns Policy (link) for the conditions in which the item should be returned.] Any leftover items from your registry are applicable to a special completion discount, if you decide you wish to purchase them. Guest Access
Gifting your newlyweds something they’ll love just got easier, thanks to our Wedding Registry services. Once you open the registry link, you can choose an item that suits your budget and even add a personalized message! You will receive a confirmation email once the order is placed, et voila! The gift will be sent to the happy couple!
