Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C is applied in two layers to provide the desired hue and protection and improve the natural appearance of the wood. It is non-toxic and highly resistant to wear, water, and heat. The metallic legs are made of S235JR steel. The permanent joints of the steel components are made by mig-mag welding in a corgon protective environment. This method offers superior welding quality and protects against contamination and corrosion. The standard for longitudinally welded steel is SR EN 10219. The metallic legs are finished by black matte electrostatic painting (also known as powder coating), which involves applying a layer of electrically charged paint powder on the surface of the metallic legs and heating it in an oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. This process produces an impeccable result without smudging.
